Phil came to the SPCA as a teenager in 2012. He’s a friendly and happy cat but was overlooked. He didn’t come running up to people when they entered the cage-free room where he resided. People would pet him but often their attention was diverted by another cat who was demanding attention. Phil was a patient cat and finally in December, 2017 his time came – a family recognized what a wonderful cat he is! Here is a portion of an update from his adopters.
He is a kitten at heart and would play all day if he could. Phil and the male kitten have become fast friends and chase each other all day. He is always curious and interested in everything that goes on in the house! We have a little joke in the house that he is a puppy kitty, because he loves to sit on his back feet with his front paws against his chest, he wags his tail when he is happy or excited, and he sits on your lap like a dog! He loves his blanket on the couch or bed so he can have a little nap.
Below are a couple of photos of Phil in his new home.
